Cookie Notice
Last updated June 2026
We've written these pages in plain language so you can see exactly how Chat With Purpose works. They're shared for transparency and are not legal advice. We're a small team building in the open: this is a working draft that still needs review by a licensed attorney before public launch, so some wording may change.
This Cookie Notice explains the small amount of information Chat With Purpose stores on your device using cookies and your browser’s local storage. We keep this to a minimum — only what’s needed to sign you in and remember your preferences.
What we store
- Authentication session — a cookie set by Supabase Auth that keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it, you would have to sign in on every visit.
- Theme preference — your light/dark/system choice, stored in local storage so the app remembers how you like it to look.
- Consent flag — a small local storage value that records you’ve seen our first-use consent notice, so we don’t show it again.
What we don't do
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site ad tracking, or sell your data to advertisers. We don’t use these values to build a marketing profile of you.
Managing cookies and storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. If you clear them, you’ll be signed out, your theme will reset to the default, and the first-use consent notice may appear again. For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
